SanDisk is known primarily for its "non-gluttonousness". It constantly pushes the limits of flash memories - usually their capacity. However, now the manufacturer has broken the ice and focused on the speed of flash drives. The new SanDisk Extreme Pro USB 3.1 promises extreme speed that is comparable to a classic SSD.

Using the USB 3.1 interface, the USB flash drive offers a read speed of up to 420 MB / s and a write speed of up to 380 MB / s. To the common mortal, these numbers are probably useless, so let's see it in practice. If you wanted to transfer a 4K movie, you could transfer it in just 15 seconds, which is incredibly fast.

By the way, Extreme Pro USB 3.1 has an aluminum body and retractable connector for better appearance and durability. The drive is also equipped with special SecureAcces software directly from SanDisk - thanks to which you can easily protect files with a password.

Both 128 GB and 256 GB variants will be available for sale. The flash drive will hit the market later this month. The high-end model will cost around $180 and you can find it on Amazon, for example.
