Today, somewhat expectedly, Samsung released new applications, which, strangely enough, are not available in Google Play, but in the App Store, i.e. in the application store for iOS. Applications from the South Korean giant have arrived in the App Store Samsung S Gear, which allows you to connect the Gear 2 and Gear 3 watches to the iPhone, and then the app Gear Fit, which in turn makes it possible to pair the Gear Fit2 sports bracelet with an Apple smartphone.
In addition to easy synchronization with the Apple phone, the apps allow users to monitor the data measured by the watch or bracelet, as well as manage apps installed from the Gear appstore. Thanks to the new applications, the watch will also receive notifications from the iPhone, which can be responded to on the watch in the same way as on Apple Watch.
The Samsung Gear S3 watch appeals primarily to interested parties with its stylish design, IP68 dust and water resistance, built-in GPS, barometer and special applications that can, for example, measure walking or running speed. The watch is mainly aimed at those who prefer the traditional round design instead of the one offered by the competition Apple.
