Dozens of users of Google's new models (Pixel and Pixel XL) claim on the Internet that their phones often freeze and encounter application crashes. It is said that the operating system even freezes for several tens of minutes - during this entire time the device is inoperable.

At the beginning of November, one of the owners of the device got angry on the official Pixel forum, where he described his bad experience in detail. Over time, several other users joined it.

“My phone often freezes and there is absolutely nothing I can do about it. It doesn't matter how many times I press the buttons, I never get a response..”

Some Pixel owners have found that a third-party app (Live 360 Family Locator) is causing the freeze. Uninstalling solved the problem. However, other users are experiencing the same random freezes even though they don't have the app installed. However, this does not appear to be a software bug.
