The American giant is slowly and surely preparing a brand new function for its users, which will be enriched with the Google Maps application. This is a feature whose task will be to improve the current real-time navigation. This means that if parking is available at your destination, Google Maps will let you know about it with a notification.
Google has been working on the news since last year, and only now it will slowly and surely get out. The new "feature" appeared for the first time on the server where the company offers its Google Maps v9.44 beta. As you can see in the image below, the app not only alerts you to available parking, but also a round icon with a P symbol right next to the route.
Google has decided, within its application, to differentiate these parking lots into – simple, medium and limited. The so-called the limited level comes with a red P icon. The great thing about this new feature is that you don't have to drive from one parking lot to another to find a spot at all.
