After several weeks of speculation, we finally found out what was behind the explosions Galaxy Note 7. Samsung has confirmed that it will publish the final results of its investigation next Monday. The new report also states that the battery inside the device was to blame, overheating and subsequently exploding.

On Friday, the South Korean manufacturer announced a press conference to be held on January 23 at 10:00 a.m. local time in Seoul, South Korea. In addition, the company came up with information that everyone will be able to watch the publication of the results from the comfort of their own home, at SAMSUNG.COM.

Accumulators for Galaxy The Note 7 was manufactured by Samsung SDI and Amperex Technology Ltd. All of the explosions happened outside of Chinese territory. To put everything into perspective. Samsung SDI supplied batteries for the European market, while ATL only for China. However, this does not mean that only one player had a hand in the whole fiasco. In the end, even ATL made a mistake with the trade-in program – sending more bad Note 7 units into the world.

In addition, Samsung recently met with officials in Washington, where it presented its results. According to the information, the company received only positive feedback, which could mean that a similar situation will not be repeated many times.
