There is absolutely no doubt that Samsung is very often inspired by Cupertino. Both companies are actively copying each other and competing to see who comes up with a better and more interesting solution. Currently, there are several courts that deal with this kind of copying. Especially in design and software. Now another one has appeared on the web informace about how Samsung will take the concept it came up with Apple, and improve it in his own way. This time the South Koreans are taking HealthKit for granted, as they have decided that they want it on Samsung (and therefore Androidu) also.

The S Health app has been available on Samsung phones for some time now (since 2015). However, it was never the same, and most of the time it resembled only a kind of empty container of what it could be one day. However, this situation should change with the arrival of new flagships Galaxy S8. Samsung has been working intensively on S Health for several months. They add various fitness features, social plug-ins, chat and much more.

The main vision is for S Health to become the core health app across the platform Android. Users should also expect to be connected to hospital services. They will now be able to make an appointment with a doctor, have their patient card available online, etc. The new S Health will be presented in a few months, alongside Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Edge. The goal is clear, to offer the same (and if possible even more) than HealthKit and CareKit on iOS.
