Recently, one bad luck after another has stuck with Samsung. First, it was flooded by last year's premium model Galaxy Note 7, now a flagship for a change Galaxy S7 Edge. The nightmare continues for the South Korean manufacturer.

A very strange problem is currently plaguing another major Samsung phone. The company admitted at yesterday's press conference that this is a widespread problem. Indeed, it seems that many owners of "es-sevens" complain about vertical pink lines that appear on the device's displays. The first reports of this issue reached us last summer, so it doesn't look like Samsung is unaware of it.

This is most likely a widespread problem as the feedback comes from all over the world. According to the available information, the entire model was changed immediately after the complaint with local retailers, which is a very good approach and solution. Of course, owners must still have a valid warranty in order to claim their device.

Several users on the forums of AT&T, Verizon, O2 UK, Telstra (Australia), Vodafone (Germany and Netherlands) and other websites have pointed out this issue. A literal avalanche of discussion also started on the social network Reddit.

If it's a problem, it can't be a software bug, but a hardware one. However, some do-it-yourselfers have found solutions that temporarily solve the problem. If on your Galaxy S7 Edge has found a pink vertical line, try to reset the display in the service menu by dialing * # 0 * # and click on the red, green and blue colors - this method may not work the first time, so repeat the action several times.
