For a very long time I puzzled over how to actually listen to downloaded music on Spotify. I've been using Spotify Premium for about a month now and I mainly listen to artists from Germany. However, the problem is that, for example, KC Rebell made his albums available only for certain regions. Of course, the Czech Republic is not one of them.

I was unhappy because I pay a monthly subscription and can't listen to my favorite music. It was time to come up with an alternative solution. For a long time I could not come up with any solution at all. It took me several months to come across this method. So I would like to share my experience with you and I believe that you will certainly use it.

Everything is handled by local files

The very first thing you need to do is download some music. It doesn't matter if it's your home recording or an MP3 downloaded from YouTube. It is important that you have a file at all. Then go to the application you have installed on your computer. Now follow these steps:

  1. Go to Spotify.
  2. In the upper right corner, click on Settings and try to find the category "Local Files".
  3. We will stay with the category for a while. Click the button here "Add Source" and find your music.
  4. Go back to the main screen Spotify.
  5. Click on a category "Local Files" (in the left sidebar).
  6. Then upload the selected music to your newly created playlist.
  7. Go to Spotify on a mobile device.
  8. Newly created playlist find and then download to offline mode.

To make everything clear, I will add detailed pictures to the entire procedures, which will surely make it clearer and clearer. So, if you still don't know how to proceed correctly, take a look at our picture guide below:
