Developers at Samsung are really busy during this period. Almost every month they are now preparing new updates for their new and old models. Now the owners of two-year-old flagships will receive a new update.
The new update is around 30MB and will only be available for Samsung phone owners Galaxy S5. This is a very important update, as it fixes security holes in the system. As soon as you operating system Android prompts in the notification to download and install the package, go ahead and download it. Samsung itself encourages its fans and customers to download the update.
However, what is interesting is not so much that Samsung is working on a new security patch, but rather where the update will be available. The installation package will be available for download for Europe only. It follows that phones from other markets have either been updated a long time ago, or were not affected at all.
To find out if the update is ready for your machine, simply go to Settings > About device > Download updates manually. Alternatively, you can then wait for a notification prompting you to download and then install the 30MB package. However, you must have at least 50% battery charge to install.
