Since its launch, the mobile game title, under the name Super Mario Run, has been able to make a lot of money. The company Nintendo, which is behind the entire development, can celebrate because it has crossed another milestone, at least in terms of money earned.
The total revenue was a whopping $53 million, which is quite an achievement considering that the app is currently only available on one platform – iOS. The company will earn additional millions when it releases a version for a competing operating system, that is Android.
Despite the large income, CEO Tatsumi Kimishima is far from satisfied. About 5% of the 78 million users paid the $9,99 fee for the remainder of the game. The executive director expected the numbers to be somewhat higher, around 10 percent.
When will Super Mario Run pro Android?
Last year when Nintendo introduced the brand new game Super Mario Run for iOS, also stated that we will see the title on Androidu. Now we finally know when we'll see the return of this legend - according to Nintendo America, Super Mario Run pro Android available already in March.
Mario for Android will of course be identical to the pro version iOS. The game is therefore completely free, but to open other functions you will have to pay 10 dollars, which is about 200 crowns. Even before the game itself is officially out, you can pre-register for available betas and so on.
