It is not customary for Bratislava to receive technology before the rest of Europe, but an exception does occur from time to time. And so some special projects are appearing in our capital. One of them is definitely the first intelligent bench, which was symbolically unveiled today in Primaciální námestí.
For us Samsung users, this means good news right away. The bench includes a built-in wireless charger, so you can charge yours while sitting on it Galaxy S7 edge, S7 or one of the S6s. And if you have another model, whether from Samsung or another manufacturer, you also have classic cable charging. However, safety is questionable, because we know how it goes with expensive mobile phones that are left for a few seconds somewhere in a public area. The current downside is that the Power Mode bench uses solar energy, so charging may be a bit of a problem this winter.

The bench is also protected against sudden changes in the weather and contains sensors that monitor, for example, the atmosphere and the number of people who have sat on it daily.
