In addition, the South Korean manufacturer has strengthened and improved overall battery safety testing to prevent explosions like the Galaxy Footnote 7.
The official release date is set for April 21, 2017 in the United States. This information was confirmed by a very well-informed Anonymous of the VentureBeat server. Samsung will announce the new flagship almost a month before the start of sales, on March 29.
It is expected that the novelty will arrive in two variants, the construction of which will be curved around the display, as in Galaxy S7 Edge. In addition, Samsung removed the frames around the display, thanks to which the display panel will form a so-called infinite surface. The smallest variant will have a 5,8-inch display, while the bigger brother will have a 6,2-inch panel.
For the time being, we do not expect any major changes, at least in terms of sales prices. Official retail price of the base model Galaxy The S8 will start at $650 (which translates to about CZK 16). You will of course pay extra for the larger Plus version, as the price will start at 500 dollars (about 750 CZK). The prices are listed without VAT and will of course be even higher in the Czech Republic.
