A few days ago, we prepared for you a rather extensive article dedicated to the new voice assistant Bixby. By all accounts, this should be the main innovation in the new flagship Galaxy S8. All these rumors started a few months ago, when the first so-called trademark was spotted.

Since then, we've released countless reports that have given us a good idea of what to expect from the new voice assistant. Samsung has now received a trademark for Europe as well, which is great news for the South Korean manufacturer. So far, no one knows exactly what trademark it is, but it could have something to do with the Al-powered service for Galaxy S8.

Samsung gave a brief explanation to the European Authority for ownership strangulation. The official report states that the South Korean company based in Seoul has developed

“software that allows users or computers to work with content, organize it, provide owners with certain informace (weather and so on) and general interest pictures'.

The engineers called the whole project Samsung Hello. The report further stated:

“..it is application software that provides personalized features and informace based on the preferences of the user himself, namely in the areas of weather, music, entertainment, games, travel, science, health, contacts and social networking. This software can be controlled by the user using voice commands…”

After reading this official report, one question prompts us – will Samsung Hello be somehow related to Bixby? According to the foreign website SamMobile, yes. It should be an extension for the core Bixby technology. The goal is to make everyday life easier for users.
