South Korean manufacturer Samsung shipped 9 million units of its tablets worldwide in the fourth quarter of 2015 – thus accounting for 12,9 percent of the total market. The company shipped 8,1 million units in the same quarter last year. Thanks to this, it showed a year-on-year decrease of up to 10 percent. In the overall tablet market, in the last quarter of last year, the company was able to deliver 12,8 percent of units.

Competitive Apple however, he is experiencing much harsher times. In the fourth quarter of 2015, it delivered 16,1 million units, compared to just 13,1 million units in the same period last year. The year-on-year decrease thus amounts to 19 percent. In addition to these two leading manufacturers, Amazon, Lenovo and Huawei are having a great time. According to a report by Strategy Analytics, these companies managed to increase deliveries between 21 and 49 percent.
