Samsung claims that to introduce the highly anticipated flagships, Galaxy S8 to Galaxy S8 Plus, will arrive on Tuesday, April 18, New York. Not only a 5,7-inch model, but also a 6,1-inch model should be introduced here. For comparison, the current flagship Galaxy The S7 Edge has a 5,5-inch display. Both models will thus retain a similar design width and height compared to last year's models.

Unfortunately, however, it is very difficult to imagine how everything will compare in the final. It will only be possible when we put all the dimensions of the structures in one table and compare them with three generations Galaxy S. At this point, everything starts to make sense, and you realize how Samsung managed to implement a large display in a compact body by removing the hardware button and side bezels. However, before we get into the comparison test itself, it is important to note that the dimensions Galaxy S8 to Galaxy The S8 Plus comes from the latest speculation - so they can't be taken literally.

As you can see from the table below, Galaxy The S8 will offer a relatively small compact body with a large display for today's time. Compared to, for example, Galaxy The S6 Edge will make it clearer to you right away. Galaxy The S6 Edge offered a 143,4 x 70,5 x 6,8 mm design and featured a 5,1-inch display, while Galaxy The S8 will offer a 140,1 x 72,6 x 7,7 mm and 5,5-inch display panel. Samsung thus managed to keep the same dimensions, but deploy a larger display.

The same story is also happening with the bigger brother Galaxy S8 Plus. Compared with Galaxy Although the S6 has a larger design, it also has a one-inch larger display. And that's what it's all about. By removing the bezels and buttons, Samsung was able to maintain the same design dimensions as previous models. Thus, users will not have to get used to larger or heavier devices.
