Samsung is preparing to present not only a new flagship Galaxy S8 (Galaxy S8 i Galaxy S8+), but also brand new VR (virtual reality) glasses. Yes, we are talking about the new generation of Samsung Gear VR, which will be sold under the name SM-R324. Compared to the current generation, which, by the way, started selling immediately after its arrival Galaxy Note 7 will differ in several elements - a different front cover and also a new one-handed controller.
Samsung Gear VR SM-R324 is coming – same as SM-R323 for S7, but gets different front cover to hold Galaxy S8 – and a single hand controller.

The already mentioned controller is probably the most fundamental change, and it will be sold in the style of Google's Daydream View and will be bundled with the Gear VR completely free. The great thing is that with the controller you will not only be able to control the virtual reality applications themselves, but also the user interface, which will be much simpler.
It is also interesting that last year we should have received a new gamepad directly from Samsung. It even appeared in several branded e-shops, but the company withdrew it for unspecified reasons. In addition, the new controller itself recently passed successful certification by the American FCC and also Bluetooth certification. The driver will then be available under the designation ET-YO324.
