For several weeks now, we have witnessed several speculations about a new tablet from Samsung, to be more precise Galaxy Tab S3. The South Korean company finally presented it at today's MWC 2017 conference in Barcelona. New tablet Galaxy The Tab S3 is indeed a stylish device, as it has very advanced technology that promises much more pleasant operation. It will be available not only in the basic Wi-Fi version, but also in the high-end model with LTE modules.

"Our new tablet is built on technology that will make the user more productive. Galaxy The Tab S3 is designed not only for everyday home activities (browsing websites and so on), but also for more demanding work or travel." said DJ Koh, president of Samsung's Mobile Communications Business.

New Galaxy The Tab S3 is equipped with a 9,7-inch Super AMOLED display with a QXGA resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. The heart of the tablet is the Snapdragon 820 processor from Qualcomm. The operating memory with a capacity of 4 GB will then take care of temporarily running documents and applications. We can also look forward to the presence of 32 GB of internal storage. Galaxy The Tab S3 also supports microSD cards, so if you know that 32 GB won't be enough for you, you can expand the storage by another 256 GB.

Among other things, the tablet is equipped with a great 13-megapixel camera on the back and a 5-megapixel chip on the front. Other "features" include, for example, a new USB-C port, standard Wi-Fi 802.11ac, a fingerprint reader, a battery with a capacity of 6 mAh with fast charging support, or a Samsung Smart Switch. The tablet will then be powered by the operating system Android 7.0 Nougat.

It is also the first ever Samsung tablet to offer customers quad-stereo speakers that have been equipped with AKG Harman technology. Given that the South Korean manufacturer bought the entire company Harman International, we can most likely expect its audio technology in the upcoming phones or tablets from Samsung. Galaxy The Tab S3 also allows you to record videos in the highest possible quality, i.e. 4K. In addition, the device is specially optimized for gaming.

The prices of the new tablet will of course, as always, vary depending on the market. However, Samsung itself has confirmed that the Wi-Fi and LTE models will be sold from 679 to 769 euros, as early as next month in Europe. We do not know for sure when the new product will reach us in the Czech Republic, but it should happen in the next few weeks.

Samsung Newsroom has now published brand new videos depicting the tablet on its official YouTube channel Galaxy Tab S3. Here, the authors show not only all the new functions that you could use in practice, but also the overall processing of the tablet.
