A little while ago, the hour-long conference of Nokia ended, which decided to show its new phones at MWC 2017. But the most anticipated event was not even its new smartphones with Androidem, which are now available for the whole world, but above all the rebirth of the legendary Nokia 3310.

Nokia kept the announcement of the return of its "thirty-three tens" until the very end. A stylish sentence One more thing so in the last minute of its conference it showed the redesigned Nokia 3310. It has seen more changes than we expected. It offers a 2,4-inch color display, a redesigned keyboard, overall different dimensions and, as a result, a design. However, it now has a 2-megapixel camera, offers support for microSD cards up to 32GB and will be available in several color variants.

We will probably have to forget about the famous resistance. The modern Nokia 3310 will be more durable than today's smartphones, but it will not reach its legendary predecessor, which can already be seen from the photos. What else we can forget about the new model is the support for fast 3G and 4G networks. The reincarnated 3310 only supports 2,5G networks and the Wi-Fi module is also missing. Modified versions of Facebook and Twitter will be available in some markets, but the question is where and when.

However, battery life should still be great. The new model boasts a 1,200mAh battery, which is a decent increase compared to the 900mAh battery in the original version. Thanks to this, you can make calls for 22 hours straight with the new device and it will last you an incredible 31 days in standby mode. Legends about incredible endurance will thus be written for the next few years. At the same time, the specifications of the original model had an endurance of only 2,5 hours during calls and 260 hours (approximately 11 days) in standby mode. The new battery is recharged via a microUSB cable, so there is no need to dust off your old chargers if your new one breaks.

The biggest attractions, which of course could not be missed, are the return of the legendary Snake game and the iconic monophonic ringtones, which will immediately tell you on the bus that you have a push-button phone from a giant with Finnish roots. The price is also great, which stopped at €49 (just under CZK 1), making it an ideal secondary phone. The exact date of the start of sales has not yet been announced, but Nokia let it be known that we should expect the new 400 in the second quarter of this year, that is, sometime between April and June.
