Aplikace pod názvem Secure Folder vůbec poprvé debutovala s příchodem Galaxy Note 7. Na začátku roku ji měly předinstalovanou i modely ze série Galaxy A. Nedávno pak Samsung Secure Folder zpřístupnil také pro aktuální vlajkové lodě, tedy klasickou Galaxy S7 and above Galaxy S7 Edge.
