A 27-year-old student at Old Dominion University, Shaunique Lamb, said her Samsung phone Galaxy S7 exploded. According to her, the device caught fire when it was attached to the holder. It is not yet entirely clear how this incident could have happened. Shaunique Lamb is said to have been driving her car while smoke began pouring from her phone.

Lamb stated in a television report that Galaxy The S7 was not connected to a charger while driving, but synchronized with the car via Bluetooth technology to listen to music. The whole unfortunate incident took place on February 23 this year. In addition, Shaunique Lamb was very lucky to escape more serious injury. She very quickly pulled the car off the road and took the phone out with the holder. In addition, Lamb is said to always carry his phone in his pockets. If she had it with her even now, she could have suffered a third-degree burn.

As soon as the phone stopped burning, she went to a Sprint brick-and-mortar store where she purchased the device. Here she was told that even with her insurance she would have to pay $200. Lamb revealed that she is now in contact with Samsung. She will now investigate the whole incident more thoroughly.
