Samsung will present its flagships this year Galaxy S8 to Galaxy S8+ in two days, specifically on Wednesday, March 29 in London and New York, and it looks like they won't surprise us with anything at the premiere. Thanks to the foreign server WinFuture because we already know basically everything we wanted to know about the new models. In addition to the information, the magazine also showed official photos of both models in all the color variants that Samsung prepared for the start.
Apparently, the South Koreans have prepared for this year "the best features for your Galaxy series" in combination with "breathtaking design," to make customers forget about the fiasco associated with Galaxy Footnote 7.

Galaxy S8 to Galaxy The S8+ will thus offer a 5,8-inch or 6,2-inch Super AMOLED with a resolution of 2960 x 1440 pixels in an aspect ratio of 18.5:9, which, by the way, is very close to the ratio of the similar LG G6 (2:1). The rear camera will offer 12 megapixels (1.4µm pixel size) with an aperture of f/1.7, dual-pixel autofocus, optical image stabilization, the ability to shoot videos in 4K, and apparently Samsung should equip the camera with laser autofocus for even better focusing quality.
The front camera will then offer an 8-megapixel chip with an aperture of f/1.7, and apparently the autofocus should be really worth it and capture "really dynamic scenes." The phone will also be equipped with an iris reader for even more reliable, faster and easier user identification and authentication. But Samsung will also equip its flagship phones with a fingerprint reader, which this time will be moved to the back of the phone. In addition to scanning and authentication, it will also support various gestures for opening and closing applications.

The new models don't get rid of water and dust resistance either, which is only good. Specifically, they will be able to boast an IP68 certification, which tells us that the phone can withstand a depth of 1,5 meters for 30 minutes. We should now expect stereo speakers for both models, and the classic 3,5 mm jack will remain, which the biggest competitor (Apple) got rid of. Along with the new phones, the South Koreans are also expected to introduce a new program called "Samsung Guard S8," which, however, will only be available in certain markets. The DeX docking station will have its own cooling system and ports for fully connecting other components, so that the phone can essentially be turned into a PC. Desktop mode will work much like Windows 10 Continuum. The European price is for Galaxy S8 set at €799 (approx. CZK 21) and for Galaxy S8+ for €899 (approximately CZK 24).
