Samsung is currently releasing new firmware for the Gear S3 classic and Gear S3 frontier smart watches. The code designation of the new firmware is R770XXU2BQC5 a R760XXU2BQC5 and the size is 130 MB. The update not only improves the stability of the watch, but also brings new functions.
Gear S3 users can now set several new skins and music controls to their "home" screen. Native apps like Samsung Health, S Voice, Alti-Barometer and News Briefing are now more sophisticated and much more useful.
In addition to the already mentioned, the update also saw the Find My Device function, which can now display contacts on the display informace in case you lose your watch. Samsung has also added functions in the Accessibility section, where there are now options to turn on the dark screen (Dark screen), shades of gray (Grayscale), the reader of text content on the screen (Screen reader) or negative colors (Negative colors).
