It's an open secret that the South Korean giant spends a lot of money on marketing. This was not the case with the models presented yesterday Galaxy S8 and S8+ (we reported here). A spectacular event Galaxy Unpacked 2017 was held not only in New York, but also in London, while the entire event was broadcast live by several news channels.

In the photos below, you can see how the iconic Times Square in New York City is literally carpeted with large displays showing the silhouette of the flagship model on a blue background Galaxy S8 with the so-called Infinity display. Samsung bought almost all the advertising spots, for which he had to pay a considerable amount of money. Unfortunately, the specific numbers are not known.
