However, they have recently appeared on the Internet informace about being a Cupertino company Apple ordered a giant shipment of 70 million curved OLED displays from its rival. These are to be used to produce the 5,2-inch premium variant of the iPhone 8.
Samsung will thus become the exclusive supplier of displays for the American Apple despite the fact that the two companies have constant disputes with each other. Apple has been trying to be as independent from Samsung as possible in recent years, unfortunately it will not reach this status easily and will need the South Korean "friend" for at least the next few years.
