According to a new report from South Korea, Samsung has decided to increase production Galaxy S8+. There is said to be a higher initial interest from retailers for the 6,2-inch variant of the flagship. The calculations are most likely based on the pre-orders of the new models, which Samsung launched immediately after their introduction.

Originally manufactured by Samsung Galaxy S8 to Galaxy S8+ in a ratio of 40:60. Now the South Koreans are increasing the production of the "plus" model by another 5%. So the 6,2-inch model now takes up 45% of total production. The rest, understandably, takes up less Galaxy S8. The production ratio of individual models will probably change before the start of sales (April 21).

Last year Galaxy The S7 was produced in a 70:30 ratio in favor of the smaller, flat model. By the end of 2017, however, production Galaxy The S7 Edge grew sharply and took 70% of the total production, so the situation has turned around compared to the beginning.

Of course, interest in a larger plus model is great news for Samsung. Galaxy The S8+ is smaller in comparison Galaxy The S8 is $100 more expensive, but basically no different except for the display. For the company, a larger model only means higher margins, which could ensure record financial results.
