It's only been a few days since we've been with you they showed leaked schematic (found below) of the upcoming one Galaxy Note 8 and we already have more information about the upcoming phablet from the South Korean giant. Foreign server Sammobile he received information from his sources that Samsung is currently already working on the firmware for the mentioned novelty. Likewise, according to the same source, the firmware for the refurbished one is also currently being developed Galaxy Note 7, which should reach selected markets soon.

Galaxy Note 8 (codenamed as Great) inspires the "es eight" and boasts an infinite display with minimal frames. Specifically, it should be a 6,4″ Super AMOLED panel with an unconventional aspect ratio of 18.5:9 (as well as Galaxy S8) and with 4K resolution. The resolution reaches 4428 x 2160 pixels, so it will probably bear the designation 4K+ or UHD+.

The new product should also have 6GB of RAM or up to 256GB of storage. Performance should be handled by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 processor (in US models) and Exynos 9-series (for the global market), with the most likely Exynos 9810, which is currently being tested.

If the scheme is based on the truth, then we will again see the S-Pen, USB-C and the good old 3,5mm jack will remain. There should also be an iris scanner and a special button for the Bixby assistant. We could also expect stereo speakers, which will probably boast AKG sound.

Designation of firmwares under development for both models:

  • Refurbished Galaxy Note 7: N935LKLU2AQD2 / N935LLUC2AQD2 / N935LKLU2AQD2
  • Galaxy Note 8: N950FXXU0AQC6 / N950FOXM0AQC6 / N950FXXU0AQC6
