Even though modern payment systems are slowly expanding, not one of them has yet reached the Czech Republic. According to the information, the service would Android Pay was supposed to show here this year, on Apple But the owners of their apple pets will probably have to wait a long time for Pay. The last method is Samsung Pay, which we now learn is coming to the Czech Republic.

Samsung Pay is a specific payment service that is understandably only available on Samsung devices. It therefore works on a similar principle as the competition Apple Pay. Due to the unavailability of these services in our country, banks such as ČSOB or KB have found their own way to enable their customers to make payments in stores using a smartphone. However, Samsung Pay is a tailor-made device of the South Korean company, which represents benefits for users in the form of easier access and thus faster transaction completion.

Unfortunately, Samsung has not yet specified when specifically we should expect its payment service in the Czech Republic. Likewise, there was no mention of the availability of our Slovak brothers. For now, however, we know that Samsung Pay will only be available in online stores for the time being. According to the report, it does not yet look like payments on contactless terminals in brick-and-mortar stores. For more details informace we'll have to wait, but we'll of course let you know as soon as we get some.

Samsung Pay and Visa Checkout

Samsung Pay in the Czech Republic will therefore work thanks to the cooperation between Samsung and Visa. Making payments on the Internet via methods Samsung Pay and Visa Checkout will now be easier for customers as they won't have to wait to fill in forms with a delivery address or login details.

Therefore, if you shop in an e-shop with Visa Checkout support, you will only need a fingerprint to confirm the payment. You will already have the payment data, delivery and billing address filled in from the Samsung Pay application, and the Visa Checkout service will only take over the data and fill it in in the e-shop. On a smartphone without a reader, it will be necessary to enter the classic login name and password into the application. If you pay via a desktop browser, you will still need to scan the generated QR code via your phone.

"Thanks to our partnership with Visa, we can offer millions of Samsung Pay users easy, fast and secure online payments and shopping on mobile devices and desktop computers,” said Injong Rhee, Samsung Electronics' manufacturing director of the mobile communications division. "Our partnership benefits not only Samsung Pay users, but also hundreds of thousands of online merchants looking for effective solutions to increase order conversion rates,” concludes Rhee.
