Smart personal assistant Bixby, which Samsung showed the world together during the presentation Galaxy S8 to Galaxy S8+, will reportedly not be available on the day sales begin, i.e. April 21. Samsung will launch the assistant later.
In a statement Samsung provided to Ax magazineios the company says that while Bixby will be available and capable of basic commands, voice commands and a few other features won't be available until the end of the summer. Unfortunately, Samsung does not mention the exact date.
Although the exact reasons why Samsung will release its intelligent assistant to the world unfinished and very limited are not known, the speculations are clear and claim that the company still wants to work on the voice and intonation, and Samsung's goal is to bring people a real experience of using a personal assistant.
