Samsung has started distributing the April security update for last year's flagship models Galaxy S7 to Galaxy S7 edge. The update package brings a total of 49 patches (CVE - Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) and an additional 16 small patches designed specifically for the series Galaxy. The update is ready for all European residents.
However, we would like to clarify that the update is carried out in stages and the phone may not offer you the update at the moment. The security patch is available OTA (over-the-air) - if you want to check for the update manually, go to the app Settings and in the section Software update click on the item Download updates manually. After downloading and assuming that your phone is at least 30% charged, it will install and then restart your phone.
