Music streaming service Spotify announced today that it is expanding its student subscription to 31 more countries around the world. The good news is that the Czech Republic has also joined them, so Czech students can subscribe to the service at half the price.

The student subscription includes all premium features, including ad-free listening, better audio quality and the ability to download tracks and albums for offline listening. A more favorable subscription can be obtained for a period of up to 12 months, up to three times in a row, that is, if you are still a student.

You must be attending an accredited institution of higher education to qualify for half-price student membership. It is also necessary to provide informace sufficient to verify that you are an eligible student, such as name, valid educational institution, email address, date of birth or other documents used for verification, as well as your payment information.

A student subscription costs only €2,99 per month (approximately CZK 80).
