At the beginning of this week we you informedthat the front camera Galaxy The S8 and S8+ have unfinished optical stabilization, which the phone does not use, so Samsung understandably does not boast about it. A YouTuber figured it out JerryRigEverything, who took the phone apart and showed its insides in detail. But he hasn't finished playing yet, because he has now created a purely transparent rear chassis, through which you can see the insides of the phone. How did he do it and what pitfalls did he encounter? We will describe this in the following paragraphs.

The author of the video used the original back of the phone, from which he removed the protective glass for the rear camera and fingerprint sensor. To remove the paint, he used a solvent that cost him less than $8 (CZK 200). After using it, he first had to literally scrape the paint off the back, but then it was possible to peel off the lamination layer relatively easily and suddenly the back was clean.

In the end, all that was left was to put the fingerprint sensor and the protective glass for the camera back in place and it was done. In other words, in order for the modified back to stick to the phone, it was still necessary to use narrow double-sided adhesive tape, which you can buy, for example here.

Of course, such an adjustment also brings certain disadvantages. First of all, of course, you lose the warranty. Furthermore, the phone will no longer be waterproof, and eventually you will also need wireless charging, because you would not be able to see the internal components through it, as it takes up most of the back area.
