Today's mobile operating systems (Android, iOS or Windows Phone Number 10) are relatively simple for the younger generation. The vast majority of users can handle them easily, they can operate them quickly, and many even know their hidden functions. However, the same cannot be said about the generation of our parents or grandparents. Of course, there are clear exceptions, but for most, today's smartphones are too complicated and they often accidentally activate some important function (for example, airplane mode).

That's why push-button phones are still relatively cheap. The perfect proof is the Nokia 3310 presented in February, which once again earned a huge wave of interest, and many of my parents' generation (that is, those in their forties and fifties) asked how much the phone would cost and where to get it, that they would like to buy and use it.

This just goes to show that people want a phone with a simple operating system and that's why the British start-up is going for them Zone V opposite with its solution – the application of the same name, which simplifies for some the complex operating system of today's smartphones. This is a launcher that significantly simplifies the menu and increases the font and buttons. But you also get other functions with it, such as a magnifying glass, quick contacts, informace first aid, vibration response, etc. There is even Samsung Knox support.

The app currently supports only Samsung phones. In the description you will learn that Zone V is compatible with the models Galaxy A3, A5, S7, S7 Edge, Note 5 and more, you can find a complete list of all supported phones and tablets here. In Google Play is a free downloadable application, but the aforementioned functions cost either £1,99 (CZK 63) per month or £40 (CZK 1) once.

It is certainly worth noting that Zone V is behind Frank Nuovo, the designer of the original Nokia 3310, and Peter Ashall, a former creative engineer at Nokia. Both of them are also the founders of the luxury mobile phone manufacturer Vertu.
