The South Korean giant equipped its smartphones with the Tizen operating system with processors from the relatively unknown Chinese company Spreadtrum. Unfortunately, smartphones with Tizen are currently limited to only some markets and have not yet reached us. However, according to the statement, Spreadtrum is looking forward to deepening its cooperation with Samsung and being able to participate not only in the creation of low-end phones, but also in the production of flagship models.

The supplier company has quite interesting processors in its portfolio. It has, for example, an eight-core 64-bit chipset, which is manufactured using Intel's 14nm technology. The processor also has an Imagination PowerVR GT7200 graphics chip and an LTE model with support for all networks. The chipset also supports dual cameras up to 26 megapixels, shooting in 4K resolution and recording 3D scenes. Last but not least, the graphics chip manages to display content on the display with a maximum resolution of 2 x 560 pixels.

Although Spreadtrum is buzzing with excitement that Samsung will produce Tizen smartphones in the highest configurations, Samsung has not yet confirmed or even hinted at such a thing.
