Do you still remember how foreign sources literally flooded us with leaks about what was expected at the time Galaxy S8? It looks like it will be the same this year as well Galaxy Note 8, with which Samsung wants to raise the reputation of its line of phablets. This week, there was a report stating that the upcoming Note 8 will get a giant 6,3-inch display for the autumn premiere.

Concept Galaxy Note 8:

Just for comparison: last year's, unsuccessful Galaxy Note 7 had a display with a diagonal of 5,7 inches. In contrast, this year's South Korean flagships, Galaxy S8 to Galaxy The S8+ boasts a 5,8-inch or 6,2-inch display. The latter is larger mainly due to the minimal frames, when it was possible to enlarge the display, but the size of the phone remained basically the same. It should be similar in the case Galaxy The Note 8, which should boast the same "infinity" display just like the Galaxy S8 and S8+.

The display of the upcoming phablet will probably be higher, which should change the aspect ratio from the original 16:9 to an unconventional 18,5:9, as in the case of "es-loops". The slightly taller display may pose a problem for users with small hands or those who occasionally need to use the phone with one hand. But let's face it, those who need a smaller phone will not buy a giant smartphone from the Note series.

The source who came up with this news also confirmed that the back of the Note 8 will feature a dual camera. That would make it so Galaxy The Note 8 became the first ever smartphone from Samsung to feature a dual camera. As a result, the Note 8 from Galaxy The S8+ basically differed only in the camera, display size and primary support for the S Pen stylus.
