Samsung's latest flagship model not only puts a smile on the face of the company's management, but also breaks sales records, and for all this, it still managed to cross the milestone of 5 million devices sold. After the failure of Galaxy Note7 this is very good news for Samsung.

Samsung introduced models Galaxy S8 to Galaxy S8+ on March 29, with both variants hitting the market on April 21. Since then, Samsung has managed to bring its phones to various markets around the world, selling over 5 million devices. Although Samsung did not boast about the detailed numbers, at least we know that the new phone is really doing well.

The manufacturer has also pledged to bring its products to other markets in the coming weeks, which could add to the numbers. Specifically, Samsung wants to have its phones in up to 120 countries around the world, including the very important China.

According to the initial estimates of analysts, Samsung should sell over 20 million devices by the end of June and should also reach the 60 million mark, which would be a new record for the company.
