It seems that, similar to every year, Samsung does not intend to stick with the basic colors that it has offered since the launch of the phone with its flagship. Three new colors have seen the light of day on the Taiwanese official website of the company Galaxy S8 and S8+. These should join the current Maple Gold (not yet sold here) Midnight Black, Orchid Grey, Arctic Silver and Coral Blue.

According to the translation from the website, the colors should be Ice Lake Blue, Smoked Purple Gray and Quicksand Gold. From the names, we can assume that we will see a slightly lighter blue, a purple-gray in a rich shade and a kind of matte gold. In fact, it will only be a matter of adjusting the current colors.

While smaller Galaxy The S8 should receive all three new colors, larger Galaxy The S8+ is likely to drop Ice Lake Blue, a light blue. The company has not yet officially presented the new color variants, so it cannot be ruled out with certainty whether it was a mistake. It is also not certain whether the new color versions of the phones will be available only in Taiwan or if they will reach other markets as well.

Update: According to a foreign server Sammobile are Ice Lake Blue, Smoked Purple Gray and Quicksand Gold just different names for Blue Coral, Orchid Gray and Maple Gold that Samsung uses specifically for Taiwan. So we probably won't see a trio of new color variants just like that, but it's a bit of a tradition that South Koreans add new colors for their flagship models during the year, so maybe Galaxy The S8 was not to be an exception.
