Exactly a week ago Apple at its developer conference (WWDC) showed off a new version of its mobile operating system for iPhone and iPads. iOS 11 brings a lot of news and changes, but some of these functions, which are new for owners of Apple devices, on the other hand, owners of phones with Androidthey have known em for several years. Apple so he probably peeked over the fence to his neighbor and at the same time to his main competitor and got inspired by a few of its functions.

While some features are taken directly from Androidu, i.e. from Google, most of which we will show you today Apple borrowed from the Samsung Experience superstructure (formerly TouchWiz) and they are strikingly similar to how they look on Samsung's flagship phones.

1) Keyboard for typing with one hand

Do iOS 11 added for the first time a function where it is possible to literally shrink the keyboard to one side so that even users with smaller hands and shorter fingers can reach it. The same function is in Androidui for a long time and especially on Samsung it looks exactly the same.

2) Instant screenshot editing

After taking a screenshot, v iOS 11 will now show a small icon of the screenshot just taken in the lower left corner. After clicking on it, you can edit the image (paint something, write something, add a signature, etc.) and then save it or delete it if necessary. The exact same function is also found on Samsung phones. The difference, however, is that while on Galaxy S8 you can turn this feature off, v iOS 11 it is not possible.

3) Adjusting the control center

iOS 11 is the first ever mobile operating system from Apple that comes with the ability to customize elements in the control center. A feature that is on Androidu has been available for many years, so it finally comes to phones and tablets with the bitten apple logo. Control center in iOS but it has partially retained its original originality, so it still slides out from the bottom of the screen, and it is also significantly enriched by the 3D Touch gesture.

4) Hiding the content of notifications

So far it has been iOS it is possible to hide the content of notifications only for selected applications that directly offer this function (for example, Messenger). However, it is now possible to hide the content of notifications directly through the system settings, which is possible on Androidu for some time now.

5) Uninstall apps without data loss

iOS 11 comes with some pretty major innovations in phone storage management. For example, it is now possible to delete an application that itself takes up a lot of space, but leave the data from it on the phone. So if you reinstall the application at any time after that, you will have the data back as before. A very similar gadget is also available on Androidu for years, only its implementation is conceived a little differently, but in the end it works the same.

6) Screen recording

Screen recording was possible on iPhonech even with older systems, but you had to use a Mac or an unapproved application. Now Apple he implemented screen recording directly into the system. But again, this function is on Androidu available for some time and while for example on Galaxy S8 (and S7) it is possible to record only games through the Game Launcher, on other models you can record the entire screen through the button in the control center in exactly the same way as now in iOS 11.
