In giant companies, employees are always checked before leaving the building to see if they accidentally took anything with them. Samsung is no exception, which similarly guards its headquarters in Suwon, South Korea. Even so, one employee managed to gradually steal an incredible 8 smartphones. He used his disability to steal.

Each employee must pass through a scanner that detects electronics before leaving the premises. However, our thief Lee did not have to go through the detector due to his disability, because he simply could not fit into it with his wheelchair. Thanks to this, he managed to smuggle 2014 phones from the building from December 2016 to November 8.

Although the number of stolen devices is enormous, Samsung did not notice that one phone after another disappeared from its factory for almost two years. It has come to the point that previously unseen smartphones have begun to be sold on the market in Vietnam. So Samsung began to wonder how the phones were getting out, until it was discovered that an employee Lee was behind everything.

At the same time, according to estimates, Lee earned a whopping 800 million South Korean won (15,5 million crowns). However, he definitely had a lot to pay back, because his addiction to gambling led to 900 million won (18,6 million crowns) in debt. Unfortunately, even after two years of stealing phones right under Samsung's nose, he was unable to fully repay his debt.
