On the Internet today and every day, users argue about whether there is a better system Android or iOS. Clashes of opinion often occur directly between supporters of Samsung and Apple flagships. I recently decided to Galaxy S8+ to buy more iPhone 7 Plus to no longer be "iOS virgin". I was interested, but I'm definitely not going to switch to a competing system. At least not currently. I've never been one until now Apple did not purchase or use the product. Perhaps only twenty years ago, I tried for about a fortnight the then predecessor of smartphones and tablets - Newton with a pen and recognition of written text.

What I liked

But phones with a bitten apple passed me by for a whole ten years, and I really didn't understand what anyone liked about them, when they are so expensive and have so many limitations, which the owners of "torn headphones" with Androidhe doesn't have to worry. At least that's what I thought. WITH Galaxy I am completely satisfied with the S8+, except for the fingerprint reader on the back of the phone, there is not a single flaw. Nevertheless, I told myself that I would finally want to iOS to know, to find out what is true and what is a lie in those heated discussions, that's why I'm my first iPhone finally purchased.

One thing surprised me right from the start, and that is how they are Android a iOS similar systems. It can't happen that you fumble for a long time, it can be said that the two systems are getting closer to each other and the internet will advise you on the few specific tricks in a moment. Lots of claims about iOS it is already part of the superstition (as well as vice versa). It seems like there's a lot to set up, and I've read over the years that you can't do almost anything. Dragging my own ringtone to the phone didn't bother me, my ringtone was on iTunes for 29 crowns. Well done.

Nor the absence of a button Back, which I was afraid of, because one uses it a lot and I found it tiring to always stretch the thumb up from the left, in the end it doesn't matter, because you can almost always use the gesture of swiping from the left edge towards the right. I also wondered how many more apps use the fingerprint sensor for their security, or that even Google app updates often come out for iPhone earlier than on a native system. Not to mention third-party apps. I also like the camera and the Portrait mode - I think the background blur is better than Samsung's. Nevertheless, I would iPhone 7 Plus did not stay. At least for now.

Why Galaxy I will not trade the S8+ for iPhone 7 Plus

First of all, it is about design. The phone is a really ugly giant brick that looks like it's time-traveled from around 2014. It looks like an ugly unwanted little brother against the 'ace-eight'. With all due respect to Apple fans, I have to write that they are literally repulsive to me. It is also much harder to hold in the hand, which is not surprising because Galaxy The S8 is narrower and overall more ergonomic. And what are we talking about, even if the most important thing should be the use and then the design, in a direct confrontation with the S8+ you can see a huge difference that cannot be refuted in any way.

The second thing is camera lens. It comes out of the body in such a way that it is shocking for users of the previous four top Samsungs. The phone wobbles slightly on the table, but it still feels weird. Especially when you know that we haven't seen this from a South Korean company since Samsung's 7 (when the overlap was maybe a millimeter). And it really makes a big difference.

I miss him a lot too absence of wireless charging. I've gotten used to it so that I usually supply juice to the S8+ barely once a month.

The next item on my list is call recording. I'm not a snoop obsessed with gathering information about the people I call, but it often comes in handy. You can use it, for example, when your girlfriend dictates what you should buy, or your boss gives you tasks to complete. Apple but it's an American company, calls are not allowed to be recorded in the US, so you're out of luck on the iPhone. Not completely though, you can use a recording service via a remote server, but it regularly costs a lot of money and can still only be reasonably used for outgoing calls. I use ACR with Samsung, after the call ends, the application asks me whether to save the recording or not. Simple as hell.

An important argument for many people can be i the absence of a memory card option u iPhone. Sure, you can also buy 256 GB. But it is much more practical and portable, of course, to have a sufficient and unpaid 64 GB (S8+) in your phone and store photos or videos on a card, which you can then easily transfer to a computer for subsequent editing of the raw material. "Apple" users can only dream about this.

The sum total

iPhone The 7 plus is an excellent phone, of course I am fascinated by the updates for all versions at once, the stereo speakers are also nice, the dual camera seems like a waste, but until Apple he won't come up with something better, he won't become number one for me.
Some renders and leaks suggest that the soon-to-be-announced anniversary version iPhone it should be even more bezel-less than the S8, plus it shouldn't have a problem with wireless charging. We'll see if it will have enough reasons to switch even for some "Samsungers". However, they are still eyeing the Note 8 a lot, so it has it in that respect Apple probably in vain.
