It's been more than two years since Samsung officially introduced its mobile payment system, Samsung Pay. Unlike Android Pay or Apple Pay mediates payments through traditional technology, where the user uploads the payment card details to the phone and then makes contactless payments via the phone without any problems. Despite its simplicity, Samsung's technology is truly exceptional and has quickly found its place on the world market. From Korea, the service rocketed to countries all over the world. It is particularly popular in the USA, Canada, Great Britain, India, Thailand and Sweden.

Great improvement

The South Korean giant brings another great payment option to its users. Following the example of Apple and Google, who also took this step not long ago, Samsung agreed with the payment operator PayPal and adds it as a payment method for purchases in applications, online stores and shops when paying through Samsung Pay.

The novelty, which will definitely be welcomed by a large number of Samsung users, will initially be available only in the United States of America, but its expansion to other countries is planned in a very short time frame.

The PayPal payment option should be of great benefit mainly due to its great popularity worldwide. The fact that the Samsung Pay platform is also very popular among users can also be a powerful weapon, and PayPal could increase it by a notch.

They are also very well aware of the quality of the PayPal service at competitor Apple. The latter recently started enabling this payment option in some countries in its App Store, iTunes Store, iBooks and Apple Music. However, the service is currently only available in Australia, Canada, Mexico, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.
