Facebook recently boasted that it is expanding the Find Wi-Fi feature to all its users around the world who use its app of the same name on Androidat or iOS. Find Wi-Fi made its debut last year, only in a handful of countries where users have trouble with mobile network coverage. The overwhelming majority were developing countries such as India. But now everyone can use the mentioned function.

And what is Find Wi-Fi actually good for? Based on your current location, it helps you find Wi-Fi hotspots that are located near businesses, cafes, or airports, for example, and you can connect to them. The function can thus be useful, for example, abroad, when you do not want to waste your precious data package, or simply in places where the coverage is worse. The function will work for you basically anywhere in the world.

You can find the Find Wi-Fi function in the Facebook application by opening it and clicking on the menu icon at the top right (three dashes). After that, just select "Find Wi-Fi" from the list, activate the function and start searching. Hotspots that you can connect to are listed either in the form of a list or their location is shown on the map. You can navigate to a specific Wi-Fi directly from Facebook.
