You've probably already heard about the iris reader in Samsung products. In the beginning, it was quite unreliable, but now it has been tuned to at least partial perfection. Some companies even trust it so much that they are slowly implementing it into their services. For example, the TSB bank took this path, which was the first in Europe to allow logging into its banking services using the iris.

TBS clients will be able to enjoy this news from September. The only condition is to own a Samsung Galaxy S8 or S8 Plus. Once clients have registered their iris in the system, they will log in permanently and without any problems. In addition, this security is referred to by some experts as one of the most secure of its type. In combination with the fingerprint reader, unauthorized access to the device is really beyond imagination. However, it's not that rosy.

Is the reader really infallible?

They recently appeared on the Internet informace, in which some experts question the iris reader on the contrary. German hackers allegedly created a fairly simple way to bypass the entire security. Their breaking works on the image of the owner's eye somehow implemented in the contact lens. However, you definitely won't get a good photo of the phone owner's eye easily. That's why it looks like really little information is enough to crack, and it won't be a problem to get it.

Such things do happen, but they definitely shouldn't. Another company's voice recognition software also suffered a similar problem. It was also considered very reliable. However, just the voice of the owner's twin was enough to break through. The most reliable security is still Touch ID, which he developed four years ago for his iPhone 5s.

However, if the bank's clients are sure of the security, they will most likely proceed with logging in through the iris, despite the concerns of experts. However, if the bank itself will start this service despite the possible risks, it is in the stars.
