The affair surrounding the explosives Galaxy Last year's Note 7 seems to have finally come to a successful end. The South Korean court in Seoul handed down one of the last verdicts related to this case. In it, owners of the defective Note 7s sued Samsung over alleged problems caused by the recall of the defective phones and demanded hefty damages.

More than 1900 injured customers joined the class action, demanding $822 in compensation from the South Korean giant. Their claim was based on the fact that they had to personally visit the service center several times in their spare time and at their own expense to check and replace the battery. The paradox is that some customers did not have to encounter the problem at all, but value their time so much that they did not hesitate to get involved in a court dispute because of it.

The prosecutors were sharp

However, the court resolutely arrested the tipster for the plaintiffs. According to him, their lawsuit is absolutely inadequate and Samsung does not have to pay any compensation. This is very pleasant news for him, despite the fact that he has been doing great financially lately. He would like to forget the entire case as quickly as possible and would like to erase the bad reputation of the Note models with the upcoming Note 8. However, it is clear that if these old pains continue to stir, the case will not be forgotten so easily. Unfortunately, that's probably how it will turn out. The law firm that represents the divided customers has made it known that it will definitely appeal against the court's decision.

It is not yet clear how the whole tussle will ultimately turn out. Although the court will probably decide in favor of Samsung even after the appeal, it is already paying for the large media coverage of the whole case. However, if the South Korean giant presents in a few days such a gem as it should be Galaxy Note 8 to be, all the critical voices and bad news regarding the Note series could be forgotten for good. And that despite any outcome of the court.
