Samsung announced a little while ago that its voice assistant Bixby is now available in more than 200 countries and territories around the world, allowing millions of consumers to enjoy the benefits of smarter interactions with their phones. In addition to South Korea and the United States, consumers in countries around the world, including Great Britain, Australia, Canada, and South Africa, are now getting the ability to use a smart phone interface that allows them to do things faster and easier. The voice assistant will be available in English and in Czechia and Slovakia.

Bixby voice assistant, which currently supports American English a Korean, allows you to use your smartphone more efficiently and customize its controls with Quick Commands. This feature allows you to easily create your own voice command that can be used instead of a sequence consisting of one or more commands. For example, you can use the "good night" command, which acts as a shortcut to turn on the mode Do not disturb, setting the alarm to 6:00 a.m. and activating the night display mode.

Bixby also understands normal speech and is able to recognize when you're asking questions and when you're giving commands. For example, if you take a photo and then tell the Bixby assistant "send last photo to my mom," Bixby will understand the commands that are related to different apps, and it will also know what photo you mean and send it to your mom. Thanks to Bixby understanding natural language, controlling the phone is easier and much more intuitive. Thanks to interactive machine learning technology using neural networks, Bixby will improve over time as it learns to recognize your personal preferences and the way you speak.

Bixby's voice assistant is unique in that it's a smart interface, not just a standalone app. Once Bixby support is added to any app, virtually any action that can be done in that app via voice, touch, or text can be done through Bixby.
