Yesterday's premiere Galaxy Note8 she brought a lot of news with her. In addition to the phone itself, which you can read more about here, we also received a new sports bracelet Gear Fit2 Pro or perhaps inimprovements for the DeX docking station. However, Samsung boasted one more minor novelty – slightly modified Gear VR glasses, which are tailor-made for the new Note8 phablet.
Due to the fact that the "note-eight" has the largest ever display (6,3 inches) that South Koreans have ever seen for a phone in the series Galaxy They used the Note, the phone does not fit into the current Gear VR headset, which the South Korean giant introduced at the beginning of this year. That's why Gear VR comes new, or rather slightly modified so that the Note8 can fit into it without any problems.

If you were hoping for new features for a brief moment, we have to disappoint you. The new Gear VR doesn't bring anything new, it's just a bit bigger to fit the Note8. As with previous generations of Gear VR, the new one, already the sixth, is backward compatible with Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 +, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7edge, Galaxy Note 5 and with all models in the range Galaxy S6.
The sixth generation Gear VR will cost $129,99 (approx. CZK 2). Pre-orders should start today, but this is information for the United States. It will then start to be sold in the same way as Galaxy Note8, so September 15th.
