In addition to the new Gear Sport watch, Samsung also showed off the new Gear Fit 2017 Pro bracelet at IFA 2. The company presented it last week after the premiere Galaxy Note8, which we wrote about directly here. But now Samsung has allowed journalists to touch and try the new product, so here we have the first video views and other interesting informace.
The novelty looks like last year's Gear Fit 2 and is basically just an improved version of the original model, which is clearly indicated by the addition of "Pro". Again, the entire bracelet is dominated by a vertically mounted AMOLED display, through which a specially modified system can be navigated with the movement of a single finger. What is new is the design of the strap, which is removable and made of soft rubber, similar to other fitness trackers.

An area where the new Gear Fit 2 Pro has seen a fairly noticeable change is durability. With the new product, you can go up to a depth of 50 meters and you don't even have to worry about holidays by the sea, because salt water is not a problem for the bracelet. It is only recommended to always rinse the bracelet afterwards so that the salt does not dry and act on it.
The Gear Fit 2 Pro also improves the experience in terms of software. It now supports Spotify offline playback, so you can download songs or even entire albums to the bracelet and listen to them, for example, during exercise via Bluetooth headphones. Another software improvement is the ability to manually add the number of food calories you've had throughout the day. The goal of this function is, of course, for you to check your daily calorie intake and adjust your physical activity based on the value.
The new Gear Fit 2 Pro will go on sale in Europe already 9. September and for a price 229,99 € (6 CZK).
