It has surely happened to you that you were on a trip in a city, your wallet was empty and you desperately needed cash because you couldn't pay by card. So you need to get to an ATM as quickly as possible, preferably one from a bank where you have an account, so that you don't have to pay unnecessary fees. But so that you don't have to wander around the city unnecessarily and spend unnecessary time searching, the Czech developer Daniel Odvarko invented an application CZ & SK ATMs, which in a fraction of a second lists or draws all nearby ATMs in the Czech Republic and Slovakia on a map.

In order to get to the desired ATM as quickly as possible, the application can navigate you to it, not only through maps, but also simply through a compass, which works great. In addition, the application works for the most part even without a network connection, you just need to let the ATMs in your area be loaded from the Internet at least once, and it will handle the rest easily without a connection.

When I downloaded the app and opened it for the first time, I was impressed by its simplicity. You won't really find any unnecessary things in it that could confuse you when working with it. After enabling location sharing, which is key to drawing ATMs on the map, you will see a list of ATMs sorted by distance from your current location on the first page. In addition, each ATM is marked with the logo of the founding bank, which definitely comes in handy with today's withdrawal fees.

If you choose one from the list of banks, the application will guide you to it. As I mentioned above, you can choose between using a compass, whose needle shows the direction you should go, or classic GPS navigation. Here you can of course choose according to yourself. In my case, for example, I chose between Google Maps, Apple Maps and Mapy.cz.

I also very positively evaluate the possibility to filter the bank whose ATM I want to use. You will probably appreciate this option especially in big cities, where there is an ATM literally on every corner and you are slowly drowning in their floods.

According to the developer himself, the application is still in its infancy. The developer himself states that he programmed the application in his free time and for fun. Its development is constantly being worked on, but it is definitely not visible. It already fulfills its purpose more than well and its functions are completely sufficient. However, if we see more interesting improvements in the future, we will only be delighted.
