It probably won't surprise most of you that Samsung ranks among the top in the production of televisions. However, in order to maintain its position in the future, it is necessary to constantly innovate and show the world why its televisions are the best choice. Until recently, the best answer could have been OLED technology, which Samsung produces probably the best in the world, which makes it one of the largest manufacturers. However, according to the latest indications, it seems that the South Korean giant will soon deviate from this path, at least for its televisions.

Even though OLED technology is one of the best in the world, Samsung would like to see its TVs with QLED technology. This provides much better options for brightness and color width. These two aspects are very important for HDR technology, which will provide televisions with a much higher dynamic range than we were used to until recently. However, OLED screens are not exactly twice fertile ground for this technology. Sure, the display of black color is unrivaled on OLED displays and ranks at the very top of the imaginary pyramid, but that's not even enough for a poppy.

What will we expect in the future?

Samsung sees real potential in televisions for the future, which will multiply several times over by mastering HDR technology. In a few years, we should expect even more sophisticated devices that will fulfill, in addition to the classic requirements for television, a whole range of secondary tasks. And since her most important output will be her image, there is no doubt that it must be almost perfect. However, it is difficult to say which direction Samsung's final steps will take. There is probably still some Friday time for a big breakthrough in the television industry.
