Do you love Samsung smartphones but not sure about their security? No fear. Samsung is so confident in its security measures that it has started offering a reward of 200 dollars to whoever manages to hack the smartphones of the South Korean manufacturer or somehow break their security.

The idea is interesting. A potential attacker earns a lot of money by reporting a weak point, and Samsung can at least easily find out which point needs to be strengthened. You probably won't be surprised that this program has been running in Samsung for almost a year and a half and all new phones are gradually joining it. So far, however, it has been running in a pilot version, and it was only today that it came into full operation. Currently, "attackers" can use a total of 38 smartphones for their attacks.

You also get money for reporting bugs

However, it's not just security breaches that the South Korean giant is generously rewarding. You will also receive pleasant financial compensation for reporting various software errors that you have discovered, for example, when working with Bixby, Samsung Pay, Samsung Pass or similar software. The reward for the reported error then varies according to its severity. However, it is said that even the most trivial mistakes are not small money.

We'll see if Samsung manages to achieve exactly what it intended. However, since similar offers are also appearing at other global companies, which have achieved solid success thanks to them, a similar scenario can be expected at Samsung as well.
