The presentation of the new iPhone is literally just around the corner. Apple should show its latest flagship as early as next week on Tuesday. The phone should be truly premium, but this is also noticeably reflected in the price. The price of the model with 512 GB of storage should climb to an incredible $1, which, according to Apple's current conversion from dollars to crowns, would make it incredible 38 840 $ (currently the most expensive iPhone 31 CZK). But why will the new Apple phone be so expensive? Samsung seems to be largely to blame for the high price tag.

Renders of the new iPhone according to the famous leaker OnLeaks made based on leaked production CAD images:

Nový iPhone it will be the first phone from Apple to boast an OLED display. It is OLED panels that are produced for the Californian giant Samsung, who asked for them at a price twice as high as Apple pays for LCD panels for iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. He revealed it perhaps the most reliable of all Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities, who has a history of reliable information.

While behind LCD panels now Apple it runs from $45 to $55, for each OLED panel for a new one iPhone the Cupertino company will pay Samsung between $120 and $130. And that is the main reason, for Apple is looking for a second supplier, which should probably be the South Korean LG. But this will help the apple company not only to cover the demand for the new iPhone, but it could also lower the price for one OLED panel, as LG would thus become an immediate competitor for Samsung.

But Samsung will influence not only the price of the phone, but also its equipment. According to the analyst, Samsung's OLED displays do not support 3D Touch (display sensitivity to pressure). Apple so he had to come up with another way to implement 3D Touch in the phone, but at the same time he had to give up trying to integrate Touch ID (fingerprint sensor) under the display. OLED panels with the sensor do not work properly, which is also the reason why it does not have it in the display Galaxy S8, S8+ or the latest Note8. Apple decided to replace the sensor with another biometric authentication method - 3D facial recognition through the front camera, which will allow you to unlock the phone and approve payments via Apple Pay.
